NBAA Call to Action NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen today called upon Members to contact Congress in opposition to two legislative proposals that would be very harmful to the industry. The provisions are included in the Senate version of a spending "reconciliation" bill approved last week. The first provision expands limitations on entertainment use of business aircraft to all employees, rather than just senior executives. A second, broader provision will substantially increase taxes for some uses of a company plane. If enacted, the provisions will reduce business aviation activity, impacting tens of thousands of individual employees. NBAA has added a new letter to the Contact Congress web site at http://www.nbaa.org/action, and Members are asked to send the letter to their federal representatives. "NBAA's Members are critical to communicating the industry's views with Congress," Bolen said. "I urge all of our Members to voice their concerns about these proposals with their members of Congress." To access the letter now, visit: http://web.nbaa.org/public/govt/action/?ISSUE=nbaa0006. Morristown Aviation Association Members and Morristown Airport Tenants: MAA Community Outreach Program The Morristown Aviation Association is engaged in a "Reach-Out" program in which the Board of Trustees is building closer ties to the organizations associated with the airport and the airport operating environment.
