For Voting Members, the Annual Membership Dues are $250.00 for Corporate Members and $25.00 for Individual Members. A .Corporate Member. is defined as any voting member that is a corporation, partnership, limited partnership, limited liability company, association, or other corporate entity. Community Issues
Local community issues regarding noise, environmental and other airport related concerns.
Possible projects include airport and community information workshops, an Aviation Career Fair, and voluntary noise abatement procedures.
ATC
Various airport and airspace issues that require interaction with the MMU Control Tower, NYTRACON, and Newark Control Tower.
Issues of concern may include higher priority IFR releases, TFR.s and interaction with the TSA
Airport Issues
On airport projects that have either ranked low on NJDOT's or the FAA's priority list of funding and are critical to the safety and security at the airport.
Projects include an AWSS, PAPI's for Runway 5, Remote Transmitter Box and establishing an airport-wide security net for communication between the various tenants on security and emergency matters.
Communications
Press Releases, updating of Web Page, and getting information out to members and prospective members.
Membership
Soliciting corporate sponsorship for membership meetings and scheduling of guest speakers and MAA special events.
If your application is accepted by the Board of Directors of Morristown Aviation Association, Inc., as a Voting Member of the Morristown Aviation Association, Inc., you hereby agree to waive notice of any annual meeting or special meeting by US. mail or in person. Notice of annual meetings and special meetings will be sent to all Voting Members by means selected by the Board of Directors of the Morristown Aviation Association, Inc.
The purpose of the Morristown Aviation Association is to collectively address and respond to issues impacting Morristown Municipal Airport, including safety, operational effectiveness, community relations and environmental concerns.
